CAMP WILLIAMS, Utah — Sgt. Tavis Huber of Farmington, a medic who serves as squad leader with 144th Area Support Medical Company, changes his unit patch during the company’s federalization ceremony at Camp Williams March 17. The 144th ASMC, which falls beneath 97th Troop Command, Utah Army National Guard, will soon deploy to Afghanistan and the ceremony marked the official release of the company from state to federal service.
