A cased pair of fine percussion pistols, Liège, circa 1850. Octagonal, fluted blued barrels with patent breechblock and star rifling in mm calibre. Dovetailed, silver front sights, with proof marks on the underside of the barrels in the shape of the Liège Perron, also a crowned "K", intertwined "JL", "GB", "EB" and "110". The lock and furniture are deeply engraved with grape vines and botanical ornamentation on a granulated background.
