Stralsund, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany - Port of Stralsund, MV Werften Wismar-Rostock-Stralsund at the rear. Since March 2016, the cruise ship yard has belonged to the Malaysian-Chinese shipping company Genting Hong Kong. Genting founded the new MV Werften, which will in future comprise the Wismar, Warnemuende and Stralsund sites, with a total of just over 1,700 employees. The shipyard group filed for insolvency in January 2022, and as a result the shipyard was sold to Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems in June 2022. In the back, the Ruegen Bridge.
