The abandoned Monarch planes at Luton airport on Tuesday Oct 3rd which can not be used to bring back their customers as the aircraft are now in the hands of the administrators KPMG and legally can not be used. The Civil Aviation Authority is to charter more than 30 aircraft to bring Monarch customers back to the UK. On Monday, it completed 61 flights, returning 11,843 people. On Tuesday, it plans to bring another 11,000 customers back to the UK.
