Strafford Banks Building When Mr. Brown became President26 April 1897 the amount of deposits,as given in the official bank report inthe Julv following, was $366,;the deposits July 1, 1912 were $815,, and the surplus and undividedprofits were over $253,000. Thecapital stock is $100,000. Strafford Savings Bank The Strafford Savings Bank waschartered 27 June 1823. The first Browns term of service is 9 yearsgreater than any one of his twelvepredecessors. The Savings Bank has had sixTreasurers during the 89 years of itsexistence. They are John Wendellfive years; William Woodman 32years; Charles W. Woodman 19years; Albert O.
