It answers to the same des-cription as Fig. 4774, but is carried up to the pelvis. Onto a broad steel pelvic band we fasten the artificial musclesfor flexion or extension, as the case may require. It mayalso be worn with good results after treatment of hip jointdisease, when, by adding a perineal band, the weight of thebody is borne by the apparatus. 4773- SEND THE FOLLOWING MEASUREMENTS.
