The weathervane on the steeple of St John the Evangelist Church (traditional catholic) is in the village of Bury which is situated at the foot of the South Downs in West Sussex. The church was built circa 1180 and has a Cedar-shingled spire, 12th and 13th century nave and south aisle, 14th century wooden rood screen with sacring and a 15th century stoup which has been built into the porch wall.
