Handcoloured steel engraving after an illustration by Mary Ann Rundall from A Symbolical History of England, from Early Times to the Reign of William IV, Truchy, Paris, 1839. Mary Ann Rundall was a teacher of young ladies in Bath, and published her book of mnemonic emblems in 1815.
