Shawenegan Falls is about 90 miles fromQuebec, 84 miles from Montreal and 21from Three Rivers. The electrical powerplant which is nearing completion atShawenegan Falls is designed to supply anelectric service not only to the nearbytowns, but to the city of Quebec in theeast, the city of Montreal in the west, andto Three Rivers in the south.
