The old train depot water tower at Reading Cow lane depot having just been painted.
The old Reading Train Maintenance Depot water tower with it new coat of paint recently applied. Used in the steam days to top up the steam trains water tanks taking its supply form nearby Southcote Junction from British rails own borehole. The tower has since been demolished along with the entire lower depot.
