No. 5 - carbine, of large bore, such as was called a "dragon," its muzzle being shaped like the gaping mouth of that monster, German, 16th century. No. 8 - suit of puffed and ribbed steel armour, engraved and parcel-gilt, German, dated 1520. No. 9 - suit of bright steel armour worn by an English arquebusier, reign of Charles I. No. 10 - figure of a knight, on foot, equipped in armour of bright steel which is said to have belonged to a Duke of Brunswick in the 16th century'. From "Illustrated London News", 1869.
