After being in California for two years, the broth-ers returned to Provo, where, out of respect to their mothers wishes, they remainedand became identified with the introduction of a systematic and higher edu-cation in that city, out of which has grown the present advanced state of educationalinstitutions in Utah. He was County Superintendent of schools from 1874 to Dusenberry began his political record in 1872, when he was elected a mem-ber of the Provo City Council, with which he has been associated ever since, 28
