In September 1993 HMS Unicorn, seen here on display in Portsmouth, was up for sale as part of a British Government arms export drive. She was a long-range attack sub, being replaced as the British submarine fleet switched to an all-nuclear fleet. She was sold to Canada and renamed HMCS Windsor.
