Grafmonument voor Johannes Schelhammer; Siste gradum viator (...) Schelhammer monument or epitaaf for German Theologian Johannes Schelhammer in the Evangelisch Lutheran Church at the Lutheran Burgwal in The Hague. A record with Latin inscription in memory of him is the center of an architectural frame. This is awarded a medallion on which the symbol of Christ's suffering is depicted: a pelican feeds her boy with her own blood. Two grieving women accompanied a portrait of Schelhammer.
