Spaceport engineers in clean room conditions preparing the Stellat 5 European communications satellite for launch. It is mounted on its payload adapter and being prepared for transfer to the Final Assembly Building (BAF), at the Ariane Launch Complex number 3 (ELA-3) at the Guiana Space Centre, French Guiana. The launch took place successfully on a dual Ariane 5G launch (V153) on 5 July 2002. Photographed in June 2002.
