SOUTH CHINA SEA (March 25, 2023) – The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Murasame-class destroyer JS Kirisame (DD 104) steams in the South China Sea while conducting operations with the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Milius (DDG 69) and USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93), March 25. Milius is forward-deployed to the 7th Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
