Mr. Wagner has always followedan agricultural life, and has actively supported the Republican family is a much respected one in Lancaster township. Our subject was reared on his fathers farm and attended the coun-try schools until he was fourteen years old, completing the course atthat age. In 1891 he graduated from the Sigourney high school and atthe age of nineteen began teaching in the country schools. For threeyears he worked industriously, working through the summers on the.
