West Point, NY- Half way through their Annual Training at Camp Smith Training Site, six 42nd HHBN Soldiers were selected by their First Sergeants for a reward dinner and concert with their chaplains, CH (LTC) Bret Charsky, incoming Division Chaplain, and CH (MAJ) Douglas Brock, Assistant Division Chaplain, 42d Infantry Division, NYARNG, Troy NY. On Saturday, June 19, 2016, they were treated to Barnstormers BBQ and the West Point Band, who performed “Far And Away,” featuring musical selections from around the globe. The view of the Hudson as the sun set added visual beauty to the occasion. One

One Soldier remarked, “It didn’t really matter what the music was, sitting and looking at the view was worth the trip!” The Soldiers were enthusiastic on the way back to the Camp, saying it was a refreshing and relaxing time.
