Shuffleboard
Shuffleboard is a game in which two or four players use 6-ft () cues to shove disks made of wood, composition, or steel encased in plastic into scoring areas on a marked court. A standard shuffleboard court is 52 ft ( m) long and 6 ft ( m) wide. It has two identical halves separated by a neutral zone. On each end of the neutral area is a triangular scoring zone, behind which is a shooting area. Players slide disks across the neutral zone into the farther triangular. Each triangle is divided into three sections showing 10 points, 8 points, and 7 points, respectively. Opposing players stand side by side and take turns shooting four disks each to the opposite triangle, trying to score points and also to block the path of each other's shots or to knock disks into a penalty area, which means minus 10 points.
