Afghanistan (July 22, 2018) – Kabul Security Force (KSF) Troopers with 1st Squadron, 180th Cavalry Regiment, 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Oklahoma Army National Guard, use their civilian experience as law enforcement officers to enable their mission while deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan in support of the NATO-led Resolute Support Mission. The KSF’s Police Liaison Detachment (PLD) consists of Soldiers who help establish relationships between KSF and the city’s police districts as part of ongoing security objectives; a crucial piece as incident response remains a primary mission within KSF.
