200521-N-KO930-2049 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 21, 2020) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) pulls alongside the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) for a fueling at sea evolution. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group (CSG) is underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the CSG, while testing a strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
