Short of taking to a helicopter, the hill at the top of Oxford's South Park gives the best overall view of the city. As major landmarks, we can see the dome of the Radcliffe Camera (right), the spire of St Mary's Church (centre) and Magdalen Tower (left). Also to be seen are the green cupola of the Sheldonian Theatre (right), the sharp green spire of Nuffield College (left), together with spires of several churches and towers of a number of colleges. The row of bespoke terraced houses in the foreground faces the London Road.
