Tuesday, February 10, 2015 Anglo-Saxon coins are photographed at the British Museum. 5200 coins were found by amateur treasure hunters Paul Coleman in rural farmland near Aylesbury, Bucks. The collection is valued at one million pounds and the coins are from the reigns of kings Ethelred the Unready (978-1013 and 1014-1016) and Canute the Great (1016-1035), at the British Museum in London.
