GULF OF ADEN (July 2, 2015) Sailors signal a landing craft, air cushion to launch in the well deck of the amphibious transport dock USS Anchorage (LPD 23). The Anchorage is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th Fleet area of operations.
