Tl;c unit was finally cut down to twenty-three men. We were shipped to France in February, and arrived inFrance on March 11. The, unit first went to work in the city of Paris,and then we were sent to Marseilles to repair automobiles that had beenin service four years. After repairing these cars they were sent to thefront, and we were sent to Italy. We spent two weeks in Italy repairingcars, and left Italy for Salonica, Greece.
