In Manitoba doctors who come from theUnited Kingdom holding British certificatesof registration as duly qualified medicalpractitioners are allowed to practise afterproving their identity and paying theregistration fees of the province. Theauthorities in Alberta and Saskatchewan,however, have seen fit to require suchpractitioners to requalify by passing theprovincial examinations in addition toproving identity and paving the registrationfees.
