Japan (June 14, 2018) Lt. Cmdr. Dora Reid (left), assigned to Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) for Pacific Partnership 2018 (PP18), access the planning process as Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) sailors participate in a table top exercise aboard Mercy to prepare for a mass patient disembarkation bilateral training exercise between the United States and JMSDF. USNS Mercy is making port visits to Yokosuka and Tokyo to promote relationships between Navy Sailors and Japanese citizens through cultural exchange and bilateral training.
