The Dutch take on The Flatiron (De Strijkijzer) Building on New York’s 175 Fifth Avenue and completed in 1902. The Hague Tower constructed between 2005 and August 2007 and designed by Architects AAArchitecten and Westo Prefab Betonsystemem. Due to the restricted work area and the coordinated delivery and installation of parts; the contractors could construct two-floors a week. The Flatiron Tower has an architectural footprint of only 30 by 35 meters and a height of m (432 ft) and 41 floors above ground level, with 351 apartments, office and meeting rooms and the highest observational restaurnant in the Netherlands; where the diner has an unrestricted view of 45 km (28 miles).
