Early morning light on Beinn Ghlas and Loch Tay from the flanks of Ben Lawers in the Southern Highlands of Scotland
A 2 hour walk by the light of my headtorch took me to the summit of Ben Lawers, a Munro (mountain over 3,000 feet above sea level) in the southern highlands of Scotland. This view, looking south west from the flanks of Ben Lawers, takes in the neighbouring Munro of Beinn Ghlas, the thin ribbon of Loch Tay, some 3,000 feet below, and the distant mountains around Crianlarich and Tyndrum. The image was taken on a high resolution Hasselblad H3DII 50 megapixel camera with a 28mm wide angle lens.
