Marine Corporal Byron M. Simpson III adjusts a fuel pump at Force Logistic Command's bulk fuel site at Hoi An, Vietnam, on January 11, 1971. The site, located 25 miles south of Danang, consists of four 10,000-gallon tanks that pump fuel to a roadside refueling point. Cpl. Simpson is one of three Marines from FLC's Bulk Fuel Platoon stationed at Hoi An.
