Sergeant Major of the Armed Forces, Sgt. Maj. Salem Bani Mustafa speaks with Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) NCOs from JAF Special Operations Command after the first-ever JAF SMA change of responsibility ceremony on May 14, 2017, in Amman, Jordan. Salem believes the continued development of JAF NCOs will allow the JAF to remain a leader in army professionalization among the other militaries in the region. Salem said the ceremony would, “Start a new tradition for our military… Today marks the milestone that the Jordan military has taken in developing our NCO code."
