Some of the memorial statuary is fine, At one end are preserved the huge painted and gilded effigies of Gog and Magog, two fabulous giants of antiquity, formerly carried in the Lord Mayor's procession Adjacent to the Hall, and communicating with it, is the Library, Museum, Council Chamber, Picture Gallery, and other Civic Offices, the entrance is free to all. "
