Sgt. Jared Smith finds his azimuth during the day land navigation portion of the 2017 Region 1 Best Warrior Competition. During the day land navigation course competitors had four hours to find 5 points. Land navigation was one of the events during the first day of the competition held at Ft. Dix, New Jersey.
