Recruits of Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct sprint drills during a physical training session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 22. Recruits were encouraged to push themselves to get the most out of each physical training session, and their drill instructors were there to motivate them as well. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Kilo Company is scheduled to graduate May 6.
