Thus it was necessary to walk out inshallow water and deep mud. The water,very unlike the salt lake water, was thick,filthy and always gave one an itching sensa-tion for hours after having been in it. Beside the duck shooting at Miragoane,there is excellent snipe shooting during certainseasons and good guinea shooting also.
