A small mahogany casket containing the remains of Maj. Gen. Alexander Macomb, a hero of the Battle of Plattsburg in 1814 and his wife Catherine is returned to his reconstructed tomb at Congressional Cemetery July 17 by National Park Service employees and two park rangers dressed in historical uniforms.
