A pink clownfish (Amphiprion perideraion) with its host anemone (Heteractis magnifica), with which it has a symbiotic relationship. Bali, Indonesia.

This pink clownfish (Amphiprion perideraion) is widespread in the western Pacific Ocean where it lives in symbiotic relationship with anemones (in this case Heteractis magnifica), to the stinging nematocysts of which it is immune. In exchange for shelter amongst the tentacles, it chases off predators which seek to eat the anemone. The species has a characteristic white stripe on the dorsal ridge and a vertical white band behind the eye.
