M5 Motorway, West Bromwich, Birmingham 26th May 2023 - Spring Bank Holiday travellers took to the roads as the bank holiday getaway commences. Vehicles travelled Northbound at Junction 1 of the M5 Motorway close to the M6 that splits north and south. Many of those stuck in slow moving traffic were pulling caravans or transporting various outdoor adventure equipment. It is the last of three public holiday weekends that have graced the month of May. Soaring temperatures meant those who had booked a holiday were blessed with glorious weather.
