After whirling the bottles for five minutes, stop, and, without removing the bottles from the pockets, fill them nearly to the base of the neck with water that is nearly boiling hot. The pipette or a tin cup with a slender spout may be used for this. Fig. 63. pouring the hot water into the bottles purpose (fig. 63). Whirl the bottles again for two minutes in order to wash any sediment from the fat. Again add hot water to the test bottles until the top of the fat column is a little.
