The monument represents the most northerly part of Europe. The seven tablets were given by seven children from all parts of the world. They symbolize, cooperation, friendship, hope and happiness, and joy across all the boundaries of the world, The monument represents the most northerly part of Europe. A woman and her child also mark the settling of the three tribes of northern Norway (the Sami, and the Norsemen and the ? ) The Mother and her child celebrate the settling down of three different cultures at the turn of the 19th century of Kamervoey, just 12 Km from Honnigsvag.
