Laing was awarded the contract for the office buildings in 1974 and the construction was completed in October 1977. The main office buildings are a group of four nested hexagonal sections each with a different elevation, these link to the computer building on the right hand side of the image, again hexagonal in plan. The exterior is clad in precast concrete panels with a brick finish effect and there are steel panels on the
