Brighton Ski Resort is in Little Cottonwood Canyon, close to Salt Lake City. The Cottonwood Canyon's receive on average more than 500 inches of snowfall per winter. As storms pass over Salt Lake, salt is absorbed and the snow dries, falling as light powder, making for some of the best conditions in the world.
