Frons plana, membranacea, 25 cm longa et ultra, crebre dichotomo-furcata, subflabellata, furcationibus angustioribus, la- ciniis ca. 4 mm latis, margine nuda, interdum proHfera, summis late rotundatis, basi sub- terete-stipitata, Frons ex duobus stratis composita, cellulis exterioribus corticalibus minutis, interioribus ad medium versus gradatim majoribus, rotundatis- polygonatis. Organa fructificatio- nis ignota. The plant is fastened to the substratum by means of a disc from which proliferations often arise. The thallus is flat, membranaceous.
