A granite cross in memory of Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, Xth baronet, was erected at the west end of the garden at Killerton House, Devon, England, UK

Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, Xth baronet, was 87 when he died in July 1871. In 1873 a granite cross on an octagonal plinth was erected at the west end of the garden, where there was a view across Columbjohn to the Exe valley and the hills beyond. It was placed there as he had taken great interest in the garden to the last, and loved that particular view from the garden.
