William Good was born in Upper LeacockTownship, Lancaster County, September 18, 1835,and is of German descent. His paternal grand-father, Michael Good, operated a small farm inWest Earl Township, and manufactured cradleson a small scale. Our subjects father, CyrusGood, was born on the old liomestead carried onby his father and learned tiie coopers trade.
