Egypt, Philae, The Temple of Isis, the Kiosk of Trajan at Philae. Philae is the burial place of Osiris. Neither birds fly over it nor fish swim near it, it was held in reverence by Egyptians to the north and Ethiopians to the south. The obelisk on which this message is carved was brought to England in the eighteenth century, together with the Rossetta Stone they throw great light on the breaking down of hieroglyphics.
