The iconic Liver Building is known as one of the Three Graces along with the Cunard Building and the Port of Liverpool Building - known locally as the Dock Office. Pier Head is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Buildings in the background include the recently added Beetham Tower, the tallest building in Liverpool ( 2010 ) and what is known locally as The Sand Castle which houses the Liverpool Echo newspaper group and also the Borders Agency.
