The Ducal Palace in Parma, Italy was commissioned in 1561 by Ottavio Farnese and erected to the design of Vignola. There are still some surviving 16th Century frescoes created by , stuccoes by Luca Reti and a room decorated by Agostino Carracci. It was much modified during the 18th Century, when the décor was changed and four pavilions were added by Petitot. On the road to the right, before the Ducal Palace, are the statues of the four Geni created sometime between 1756/7. Today the palace is the home of the local police headquarters.
