On account of the lasting qualities of its flowers it is frequently called "Chinese Paper ; 10c. C A N N A S. —Recent MARTHA WASHINGTON. Martha Washington—Recommended as one of the nnest pink Cannas. Flowers extra large, often measuring 5 inches across. Color, clear rosy pink, very bright, in fact one of the most showy Cannas in our field the past season. Grows about 3 feet mVh. 20c. Pennsylvania—With us the past year this Canna proved one of the most attractive of all the large flowered or "Orchid-flowered" type. It is really the only pure deep scarlet in this class of Cannas. The flowers are immense in size, often measuring 6 inches and over across, with single petals, 2 to 21/? inches wide. Plant grows 5 to 6 feet high, with its bloom carried well above the handsome bright green foliage. Its brilliant coloring, free blooming habit, and vigorous growth place it in the front rank of all "Orchid Flowered ; 50c. Rosemawr—Color bright rosy pink, beautifully mottled rose and shaded with rich yellow at the throat. Flowers are extra large, with well- rounded petals and are very durable, remaining in good condition for a long time. One of the finest pink Cannas, making nice shapely clumps and growing about 3 feet high. 20c. Gloriosa—A grand gilt-edged Canna wTith immense flower. Center of petals rich crimson with a wide border of deep golden yellow. Continuous bloom- er, very dwarf, compact grower. Fine as a border to beds of taller growing Cannas.
