This strange rock "circle" can be found at l-Ahrax in Mellieha. What caught my attention is the fact that the whole area is a vast expanse of level garigue, with no cliffs or hills Therefore, these loose monoliths could not have fallen from anywhere. How did they come to be here? The only logical explanation I can muster is that at one point a huge wave must have thrown them onto the shore.
